Kayaking.

Kayaking is safe and secure water sport with lots of fun and exercises. A professional kayaking player observes a complete set of chest, shoulders and arms exercises on each rowing of kayaks. Kayak experiences are those memories a man can never forget and would love to have such activities again and again. Being a professional kayak racer, I recall my memories and my friends that how eager we wear that time about our kayak boats to get ready and then polishing it and making utmost finishing by our own hands. Now things are quite changed and heavy commercialism involved even in water sports. One good things is the increasing number of kayak loving people and more people joining kayaking for their leisure times and performing object oriented exercises with kayak thrills to be first and remain ahead.

Difference between kayaking and canoeing.

I don’t know why people mix kayaks and canoeing with each other while there is only one value common and that is being a boat eventually because a kayak or a canoeing has to float on water surface but huge differences in their sports and functionalities types. Both are two major water sports but have different interests. Kayaks are especially for racing and a speedy rowing purpose while canoeing is just for boating and recreations of enjoying holiday evenings while rowing canoe boat in near by stream or lake.

My old town canoe experts used to abuse kayaks sports and make it a useless water sport activity and meanwhile old town kayaks loving, included me tell stories of kayak thrills and bullet like moving on water surfaces in multicoated and multi colored kayak boats.

I am writing this for removing some foolish type confusion of people who always remain conjugated between different boats types and especially about canoe and kayaks.

Let me explain here the main difference between these two water sports categories with two different modules of boats and no doubt, these are boats end of the day but I would say as following lines describe:

Possibly you have visited a kayak pool where you see hundred of kayaks are just parked in a narrow harbor outlet and this deliver you a simple message that kayak is not a boat actually and it has boating qualities but it is kayak and it’s a bullet of rowing world.

Kayak is a round split small human powered boat like object that has a covered deck called cockpit covered with spray deck. Kayak rider rows it with two bladed paddles with hands and actually it was designed to make easy access to the southeastern sea hunting of sea seals and fishing with a knifed rod. Initially kayaks wear made of wooden and ropes natural materials by adjoining soft wooden lairs and tying up by ropes but modern kayaks are made with fiberglass stuff and plywood with thick paints and polishes on its outer surfaces to cover them to prevent from saline sea water affects. Upper part of a kayak is covered with a wooden or carbon fiberglass made roof with an oval like hole for sitting arrangements of the rider. Modern kayaks have capacity to sit two or three people for kayak racing purposes.

A canoe is narrow but open from upper side and with two or three benches for sitting in. this kind of boat was designed for individual or short family transportations across the rivers and lakes. The usage of this boat is observed in Venus where streets are small streams of water and these boats are called Gondolas over there with some fancy touch to their apparent.

Canoe boats are very useful for fishing in calm waters and with little mechanical alterations, a gas or chargeable motors can be fixed for propelling fast but it is not recommended, as it is not safe for such little boats.

Kayaks are speedy water sports.

We can enjoy kayak experiences in kayak pools made for kayak learning from a coach to participate in kayak race completions as the balance keeping and rowing a kayak is not so easy to do without prior practices. And canoe rowing with two bladed paddle is quite an easy job to perform, even in some binger cases as the canoe boats are little flat bottomed and in smooth shapes to keep satiability on water. Hull of both kinds in canoe and kayak are very sharp edged but in vertical blade like shape so it moves fast and cut the water waves behind with easy paddling.
